An example of some of the families supported by Project Mercy...

Fadel W.
Fadel's apartment in Gaza City was destroyed by bombing shortly after the events of October 2023. Since then, Fadel has been living with his family of eight people – his wife, two aging parents, three children and one baby – in one tent without privacy or the dignity of indoor plumbing, exposed to the elements and dependent on gathering wood for a campfire for heat and cooking. Fadel's only son was recently injured in a bombing, but is making a full recovery, alhamdulillah. After his uncle died in the genocide, Fadel took responsibility for his uncle's wife and children, meaning his family of eight has now grown to fourteen people.

Fadi & Family
Fadi and his family have lost two children to malnutrition. When we first met their family, they had already lost their six year old daughter. They currently had a five year old son who was showing distressing signs of malnutrition, and we attempted to raise emergency funds to save his life. We were devastated with grief when our efforts were not enough to keep their son alive. We are currently providing ongoing support to feed Fadi, his wife, and their two remaining children, so that they can avoid the grief of losing another beloved child to starvation.

Information regarding the identities of our benefitting families
For the safety of the families we are supporting in Gaza, we endeavor to keep their identities as secure as possible. We share a limited amount of information about our families on public pages of this website and on our social media accounts. Additional detailed information about the families we support is available inside the password protected, members only login area of this website.
To access this section of the website, please establish your membership by starting a monthly or weekly recurring donation through one of the forms on this website. After your recurring donation has been received, a member of our team will contact you directly to verify your identity and assess the sincerity of your intentions. Once you have passed the vetting process, you will be granted access to the members-only area of the website, where you can find more information and updates about our families, as well as receive invitations to our live community calls.
Information regarding the identity and qualifications of our team
We are an all-volunteer staff comprised of concerned citizens from multiple countries around the globe. Our leadership team has significant prior experience in the fields of medicine, law, business administration, ministry, disaster response and political activism. Due to political uncertainties in some of our home locations as well as for the sake of modesty in action, we prefer to keep our identities as anonymous as possible.
Information regarding our charitable status
We have decided that it is not the best expenditure of our time and efforts to register Project Mercy as a charitable organization. We are currently receiving fiscal sponsorship from Bijou Foundation, which is providing their services free of cost to Project Mercy. Any donations you make to Project Mercy will reflect the name of Bijou Foundation on your credit card or bank statement. When submitting a donation through our online forms, please be sure to include something in the memo line to indicate that your donation is intended to benefit Project Mercy.
Bijou Foundation is a Charitable Organization registered in the State of Wyoming, United States. Bijou Foundation is currently in the process of applying for federal 501(c)3 status. Until this application is approved, we cannot guarantee that donations made through this website will be tax deductible, and we hope that the spiritual and moral rewards of charitable giving will far outweigh the benefits of a tax deduction.
